Hi!  My name is Thomas (Tom for short), and I am the owner and founder of Thomas Heath Events.  Way back in 1999 I started DJing with a couple of friends.  It didn’t take long before I knew that there was a better way.  My goal then was to have fun, and make a little extra money.  My CURRENT goal is to take the northern Michigan destination wedding dj experience to a higher level.

I take what I do at Thomas Heath Events very seriously.  By attending workshops, conferences, and symposiums all over the country, I am able to bring this knowledge back to our staff, and then to your event.  Being a trained DJ and Master of Ceremonies is my career.  Working with couples from all over the world to create amazing weddings, fantastic events, and phenomenal parties is my passion!

When I’m not DJing, I love spending time with my wife Shannon, and our fur kids.  We have three rescue Pitbulls and two rescue cats

What do I listen to?  I really do love music from many genres and generations.  As a violinist, I love Lindsey Stirling and Stephane Grappeli.  As a DJ I really love songs that get multitudes of people out on the floor.  My guilty pleasure?  Dokken.

Favorite party starters?  I love to start the dancing off with a slow song that everyone knows.  That gives us a nice crowd on the floor to start out with.  Then I look at the dancers, and pick a song that I think will resonate with the majority of them.  Anything by Bruno Mars, the Beatles, or Michael Jackson works well here.
